DIY Projector

For this residency I worked with video artists and young arts managers around Indonesia. My host organization was Yayasan Cemeti in Yogyakarta. My main projects in Indonesia were to deliver a workshop for small arts organizations and artist run spaces, and to build a series of DIY video projectors from cheap components.
The DIY Projector (built in Daerah Istemewa Yogyakarta) was made from cheap and accessible materials, including a soup ladle and the LCD screen from a handheld Sony playstation. The total cost of each projector was around AU$150
